Akwan2fo Fashion was established in February 2014 with the aim to create more working opportunities for a group of carefully selected tailors in Assin-Fosu Ghana. The brand started with some pillowcases, shoppers and clutches. Because the demand for the products in Europe was there and the collaboration with the tailors went so well the company decided to start designing and manufacturing a clothing line, wich is designed in The Netherlands and made in Ghana by local talented tailors. In September 2016 Akwan2fo Fashion opened their own workshop in Fosu, Ghana. With a fast growing group of tailors Akwan2fo Fashion is trying to set up a production unit that can produce for everyone that wants to produce in Africa. Besides being a production factory Akwan2fo Fashion also has her own brands by wubben & Sankofi. Exchanging stories, connecting people and being transparant in everything they do are keywords for the company. All this is combined in the motto: ”Help me and let me help you!”.
